Charlita's Cakes: Atlanta Wedding Cakes, Birthday Cakes and cakes for all occasions

Charlita Varner is the owner of Charlita’s Cakes. The wife and mother creates wedding cakes, novelty cakes and pastries for corporations and individuals. Her childhood Easy-Bake ignited her interest in cooking.”

Aside from apprenticing with Easy-Bake, Charlita says she learned valuable lessons at the elbow of her mother, a self-taught cook who baked cakes mostly for her family. Before long, Charlita was assisting her mom in baking cookies, brownies and cakes for her four siblings and friends.

Her first baking job was at the former Dessert Place in Buckhead followed by positions at The Mansion Restaurant where she worked as a pastry cook and the Hyatt Regency Atlanta, where she started as a pastry cook, before being promoted to Pastry Sous Chef.

Charlita's creations have been featured on cable TLC's “A Wedding Story” and in several local and national magazines:"I Do"," Wedding Bells", "Atlanta Good Life" and

"Brides Noir".
